There is a saying " you can't make a dinner without chicken", meaning chicken is almost a necessity for a decent dinner. Zhanjiang Chicken is the favorite of Guangzhou peoples. In 1990s, there was only one or two restaurants cooking Zhanjiang chicken on Yueken Road, but now about ten restaurants featuring Zhanjiang chicken stand on this l-km-long road. The road is also known for its East Guangzhou Food, Chao-Shan Food and Hakka Food
