The "New Era of Animation - 40-years Results Exhibition of Guangzhou Animation Art" co-sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles will be grandly opened at the Guangzhou Art Museum on November 28, which is open to the audience free of charge. It gives original display of historical materials of animation art in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau in the past 40 years. The exhibition will continue until January 6, 2019.

For the first time, this exhibition will systematically, professionally and historically organize and integrate the history of Guangzhou animation art. It will display the animation art achievements of Guangzhou in the past 40 years of reform and opening up in a documentary manner, and create a Guangzhou anime “encyclopedia”.

The exhibition will showcase the history of anime art since the reform and opening up in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao. Among them, there are "The Legend of the Emperor" and "Fengyun" which are popular across the country. There are also the "excellent glimpse" of Li Zhiqing's "Jin Yong Ink and Wash Comics" passed from Guangzhou to the whole country, which gives three-dimensional display of the unforgettable experience of 40-year cooperation despite of difficulties and presents the common cultural imprint of the three places.
