Lingnan Culture Street will be built in Guangzhou International Finance City

On October 9, the Guangzhou Public Resource Trading Center issued the “Bidding Notice for the Survey and Design of the Lingnan Culture Street Project for the Infrastructure and Commercial Facilities Project of the Start-up Area of Guangzhou International Financial City” and the corresponding bidding documents. According to the announcement, the project is located in the middle of the planned area of the start-up area of Guangzhou International Finance City, along the the Zuijinyong and Tangxiayong on the Pearl River bank. Through the traditional image of typical Lingnan-style shops and courtyards, combined with traditional environmental elements such as squares, revetments and arches, a leisurely and prosperous riverside water system in Lingnan Culture Street will be built to create a landscape characterized by leisure, prosperity and grace.

The construction is expected to begin in January 2019 and completed in November 2020. The project consists of six commercial plots, mainly in the form of low-rise Lingnan folk customs commercial pedestrian street. The total land area of the project is 36,326 square meters, and the total construction area of the ground is 40,197 square meters. The overall height of the building is not more than 15 meters and the tallest part is not more than 18 meters.
