June 9 is China’s “Cultural and Natural HeritageDay”. In order to make Guangzhou’s intangible heritage known to more citizensand allow them to share the splendor of intangible cultural heritage, theGuangzhou Intangible Heritage Protection Center will join hands with culturalmuseums (intangible heritage centers), inheritors and social institutions tohold this year’s intangible heritage revival action—“Cultural and NaturalHeritage Day” Intangible Heritage Session.

    The activity will last throughout June,presenting more than 70 interesting intangible heritage activities forcitizens. 11 districts of Guangzhou will be involved in the activities. Morethan 50 intangible heritage sites, including inheritors’ workshops, exhibitionhalls, folk custom sites, music associations, martial arts clubs and clinics,will be open to citizens from today to June 10.

     More attractively, the intangible heritage siteswill hold experience classes, training classes, lectures, exhibitions,performances, free medical diagnosis, quizzes, product purchase and so on.Citizens can choose the intangible heritage sites which they are interested inand have wonderful experience there after successfully signing up online. Thisis a good opportunity for citizens to appreciate the original traditional artof Lingnan and experience the craftsmanship of pursuing perfection.
