The wetland features complex and unique ecosystem and it breeds a wide variety of wildlife, including rhesus monkeys, many rare waterfowl and so on with a strong ecological purification and beautiful and magnificent natural landscape.

     In April, the Forestry Administration of Guangdong issued “the Top ten must-see wetlands in Guangdong” and recommended the ten most beautiful wetlands of Guangdong Province to people in the province.

     Shenzhen Mangrove Nature Reserve, Xinghu Lake Wetland Park, Nansha Wetland Park, Haizhu National Wetland Park, Huayang Lake Wetland Park, Huidong Harbor Sea Turtle National Nature Reserve, Qiao-dangandao Provincial Natural Reserve, Guangdong Haifeng Avian Provincial Nature Reserve, Zhanjiang Mangrove National Nature Reserve, Wanlu Lake National Wetland Park.
