On April 11, “improving product standard and building quality tourism- group tour full-dimensional service evaluation system press conference” was held in Guangzhou City. In the conference, the Lingnan Holding GZL, the national leading south China agency released the first group tour full-dimensional service evaluation system. It is known that the evaluation system broke the “finalized” status of most tourism industry standards aimed at the full-process formulation of group tour. Through the “quantitative” evaluation method of four dimensions and eight indicators, the six factors of catering, accommodation, traveling, touring, purchase and entertainment were evaluated to come up with the total scores of group tour so as to divide the tourism products into five different systems of “credit, praise, esteem, classic and joy”.
Insiders pointed out that the most agencies take “the hotel star level” as the main evaluation indicators for group tour reception grade. In fact, this cannot totally reflect the full service level of the journey. The proposal of “group tour full-dimensional service evaluation system” features milestone significance to the travel experience of consumers and quality, standardized development of China’s tourism industry.
